I would like to say thank you to all of you who commented and those who emailed me re this story I would also like to say how sorry I am for not responding a little quicker. It would seem that in my absence my "TO DO" List has got longer and so I have been trying to wade through that lot.

Cake - I will be seeing the little herbert in a week or so and will pass on your hug.

BG - Thanks for dropping by I think the best thing we can all do is just not let the plight of these children fall from the public eye.

DL - Hayfever gets mpe like that as well or there is always the bit of dust in the eye ploy. Hope you are all well.

JH - I remember you buying them the book and the way they hung on every word when you read it to them the first time. I hope they approved of my rather crap rendition.

PM - Thanks for popping by and your very kind comments. Not everyone likes my choice of certain words, but then you cannot please all the people all the time. If you are the Paul McKenna you might be interested to know that I use your how to change your life in seven days for a lot of people I deal with. More of that later.

Get the blog published or filmed but ensure your own words are used.
I am impressed.

I remember reading shrimp to your girls and how they loved the pictures. It broke my heart thinking about them and how it must have been for you telling the story to J. I am so glad that like Shrimp this story had a happy ending.

You've caused me some embarrassment UN...

... having a sly peek at your blog whilst at work. I've had to invent a case of hayfever to explain the watery eye.

Good to see you back!

Best wishes,
D.

Oh thank goodness Joseph pulled through. Like HMC I wonder if he knows how many of us care about him. Is there a way we could set up a fund to sponsor some of the other children who live with him?
I'm not even going to comment upon the MP's scandal, it's sickened me too much
Glad to see you back and posting UN, I've stopped by a few times lately hoping to see you back
BG x

I took a deep breath and thanked whatever deity for that too. I wonder if that little boy has any idea just how many people that he has never met care about him and his future. When next you see him, please can you give him a big hug from me x
As to those *expletive deleted* in Parliament... Grrrrr! Democracy, dictatorship, communist, capitalist? At heart, they're all the same. Just after whatever they can get out of it and screw the rest of us.
