Minx- Glad to have you back with us after your little absences. Bloody fig rolls, I don't eat much in the way of carbs full stop, so why I had a biscuit when the old sphincter had not quite calmed down I don't know.

Andy - Thanks for commenting. I don't know that I did believe Mr Allen entirely, but there was something about Jenny that was just normal. As for beaver flashing, it might be normal for Sharon Stone but most ladies tend to keep their bits covered. Boo or maybe not!

SG - Thank you for your very kind apology which really wasn't necessary. If you don't like what someone writes, you should be free to say so. I did to PA and you did about me. No offence taken. To be honest I was somewhat amused at the reaction over on Petite Anglaise site and by the reaction of the girl herself. It was odd though that a number of other people used my id to make comments and posts on other sites. Ah well there you go. Yes it is all true. I change the names and some of the locations ever so slightly now and then. I also don't tell the weary stories of Chavs and ASBOS that we deal with on a regular basis.
Thank you once again for your apology and post.

JH - It was the biscuits. I have been on a strict programme of withdrawal from eating pet food after the kitty-kat saga. It was Ian "Tit Nibbler" Smith who used to eat the dog biscuits, but I think he liked Mick dog biscuits rather than Winalot.

GB - I am with you on this. You furry jungle dwelling chaps are a suspicious lot, probably with good reason.

Was it the biscuits or dogs dinner that gave you the bad guts?

Do you remember the bloke who used to eat winalot. What was his name?

Hi Norman,

(I left this comment at my blog, too)

Thanks for your comment and your kind words about my blog.
Can I take this opportunity to ‘publicly’ apologise for the harsh way in which I responded to a comment you left on Petite Anglaise’s blog a while back. I disagreed with what you said and didn’t like a couple of things you said in your first Uncle Norman post… but I was just damn rude in the way I responded to what you had written … I am sorry!
Since that time, I have become an avid reader of your blog… is it really all true? If so, what a surreal/ action packed life you lead!

Interesting and ghoulishly entertaining .. why do you believe Mr Allen and Jenny and not Amy and the mother/sister back in the UK (other than the psycho evidence of Amy flashing her beaver)??

Oh Norman, this is brilliant!
The twists and turns are as craggy and unpredictable as those in the Pyrenees.

And the characters are as fruity and flatulent as the fig rolls!! I love it!!

I don't know how he managed to run two lives at the same time, especially as the one with Amy was so dysfunctional. For most normal people one home life is more than enough!

Brigitte - A very sad situation when people are ill like your sister of Amy. The strain on you and your family must be horrendous. Just don't loose faith

A few years back I was involved in some interesting work which really taught me that things are often not at all what they seem. Don't take anything at face value, because everyone has an agenda. This story really rams that point home. It would have been easy to accept Amy's side of things, whereas in fact it now appears she's a complete fruitcake.

Obviously something similar might apply to Mr A's side of the story. Or the truth may be somewhere in between. You just never know. You have to weigh up what you are able to judge about both sides, and form your own views.

Brilliant stuff, as ever.

Sadly, this woman (the mother)sounds very like my sister. We are at out wits end I just dont know what will happen to her. Mr Allen was very brave doing what he did. Such a sad story.
